Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sioux Falls, SD. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Rotating 12-hour shifts and 40 hours per week with a travel stipend may apply. The MRI Tech will perform imaging using MRI equipment, ensure image quality, prepare patients, and communicate with physicians for interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required
• 1 year experience with MRI safety and patient prep
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS required
• State licensing requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Position patients and ensure comfort during MRI scans
• Operate MRI equipment and collaborate with radiologists
• Assist with contrast administration and IVs
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system
