TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Los Gatos, California.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS.
• Must have ARRT (R) National Certification.
• Must have state‑specific licensing when required.
• Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Rad Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Requirements*: ARRT (R), BLS, 2 Years.
