Overview

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The position offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts, travel job in Richmond, VA. The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts, tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Responsibilities

As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Follow physician orders regarding which area of the patient's body requires imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment.
• Implement radiation protection to prevent unnecessary exposure.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare imaging results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
