We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening. The right candidate must have 1 year of experience and meet the additional qualifications listed below.

Responsibilities

As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for interpretation. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing.

Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
Calibrate imaging equipment.
Prepare results for physician review.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of experience.
BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required.
