Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. This 13-week role involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts, and requires ARRT (R), BLS, and state licensing where applicable.

Immediate start for candidates with at least 1 year of Rad Tech experience. The position emphasizes patient identification, procedural explanation, proper positioning, radiation safety, PACS utilization, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience.
• Current BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state license as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy/physiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders on imaging areas.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
