Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This 13-week engagement requires 36 hours per week with evenings shifts. The Rad Tech will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure image quality, and support physicians with accurate results.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT(R) national certification, and state licensing if required. Travel-friendly environment and PACS system experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiology imaging procedures and patient care.
• Certification requirements: BLS and ARRT(R) national certification.
• State licensing may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and review imaging requests with patients.
• Explain imaging procedures and procedures to patients with reassurance.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for proper imaging angles.
• Limit radiation exposure with protective measures for patient and staff.
• Calibrate imaging equipment to ensure quality images.
• Prepare results for physician review and interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image handling and storage.
