Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires 1 year of Rad Tech experience, ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and state licensing where required. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure quality images, and support physicians in interpretation.

The position involves 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel logistics. Expect to work with McKesson PACS, maintain records, and comply with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of radiology technologist experience.
• Must have ARRT (R) National Certification and BLS.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and ensure images are accurate for interpretation.
• Prepare patients for radiologic testing and provide patient care.
• Position patients and adjust equipment according to orders.
• Minimize radiation exposure through proper shielding and protocols.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS for image management.
