Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. The Rad Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with physicians. Ideal candidates have ARRT(R), BLS, and state licensing; one year of experience required.

The role offers 40 hours per week with a travel stipend; benefits are provided through TotalMed Allied. This temporary travel position requires the ability to stand for long periods and to operate imaging

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS required.
• State licensing as required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide comfort.
• Follow physician orders for imaging region.
• Position patient and adjust equipment to correct posture.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper shielding and protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
