Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to provide technical expertise in radiology and fluoroscopy. The primary responsibilities include producing and processing images of various parts of the human anatomy to assist in the diagnosis of diseases or injuries. Key duties involve:

• Selecting appropriate exposure factors and positioning patients to ensure diagnostic quality while adhering to A.L.A.R.A. guidelines.
• Operating a variety of technical equipment and software.
• Preparing and administering contrast materials to patients.
• Assisting with special procedures and examinations.
• Specializing in image production of specific anatomy, such as the chest, gastrointestinal tract, or orthopedic systems.

It is essential for each technologist to be cross-trained in additional modalities per department policy. Candidates must be certified and registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or an equivalent body. State licensure in radiography may be required.
