X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This position requires expertise in radiologic technology and the ability to perform various imaging procedures independently.

Shift Information

• Shifts: Varied
• Average of 3 call days per month
• No guarantee of hours
• No guarantee of time requested off

Minimum Experience

A minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is required.

Certifications and Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Assigned dosimetry badge

Job Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in radiation safety and protocols.
• Functions independently without supervision to provide quality imaging services.
• Utilize Epic EMR and other related technologies effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Philips DR and C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Philips Fluoro
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR

Additional Information

Travelers must arrive on the island the Friday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance appointments. Note that no requests for time off will be granted within the first 13 weeks of the contract.
