Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CAAHEP) is required.
• Experience in radiology imaging and procedures is preferred.
• Strong patient-care and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging and specialized procedures under physician orders and supervision.
• Position patients, select imaging modalities and equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Verify patient information, document procedures, and upload images into PACS/Viewpoint systems as required.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards; prepare and sterilize procedure rooms and equipment; assist with room turnover.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure timely imaging and reporting.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures; communicate findings to the care team.

Requirements

• Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Certifications: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN); ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) registry
• Experience: Preferred two years of related work experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or a high-risk obstetrics setting
• Additional: Ability to work in a hospital imaging environment; travel assignment eligibility
