American Traveler is hiring a part-time Radiology Technologist for night shift coverage in Kentucky. ARRT(R) certification and a Kentucky Radiation License are required, with minimal prior experience expected.

The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring ALARA principles, and coordinating with clinical staff. Travel-rate options apply for non-local candidates, while locals receive a lower rate.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong eye-hand coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to operate radiology equipment and related clinical hardware
• Maintain continuing education hours as required by licensing agency

Responsabilités

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with computer processing
• Provide 2x12-hour night shift coverage per weekend
• Verify orders and patient identity prior to exams
• Document patient care and contrast reactions in the EHR
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles during all exams
• Assist radiologists and other providers with exams and procedures
• Generate quality images and manage PACS archiving
• Support training of new staff and imaging students
