Healthforce Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Templeton, CA. The position supports using X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography with a 40-hour week and 3x12 night shifts.

Start date 08/24/2026, pay is weekly with guaranteed hours. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, CA license, ARRT certification (ARRT-R), and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• CA Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT certification with ARRT-R and ability to perform at least one additional modality.
• CPR/BLS required.
• 3 years’ technical experience preferred; California practice eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment.
• Perform imaging modalities to support patient care goals.
• Safely transport and assist with mobile imaging and patient transfers.
• Prepare and handle contrast agents; test safety equipment.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in imaging services.

Radiology Tech, Multimodality Technologist, Templeton, CA — start 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, $2,293-$2,388 per week, guaranteed 40 hours per week, shift 3x12 nights, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital on a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, according to licensure and credentialing
• Perform at least three imaging modalities on a regular basis to support patient care goals
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; assist with mobile imaging as needed
• Prepare and handle contrast agents for imaging procedures; participate in tracking and testing of essential safety equipment (defibrillator, crash cart)
• Support departmental objectives and maintain quality and safety standards for imaging services

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred; Master’s Degree preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) required; CPR/BLS from an approved vendor required
• Certifications: ARRT certification required; current certification in one imaging modality with the ability to perform duties in at least one additional modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET). ARRT-R required; ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT or ARRT-NMT or SNMT or ARRT-S or RDMS/RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET required
• Experience: Three years’ technical experience preferred; able to work in a Short Term Acute Care setting
• Location/Certs: Must be eligible to practice in California; ability to work the listed schedule and modalities
