Qualifications

• Current nursing license per the state of assignment (California).
• Two years of recent experience in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging studies including X-ray and CT.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures and ensure safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, optimize technique and adjust parameters.
• Verify orders, document procedures and maintain patient records with image labeling.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and nursing staff for timely imaging and accurate results.
