Qualifications

• Availability to work the stated shift schedule (4:00 PM start; five 8-hour shifts per week).
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements and comply with facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams using appropriate imaging equipment and protocols under general supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; verify patient identity; screen for contraindications; explain procedures as needed.
• Position patients; select imaging sequences and coils to optimize image quality; monitor for motion and artifacts; adjust parameters as necessary.
• Acquire images per protocol; ensure accurate labeling, processing, and transfer of images to the radiology information system.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record and participate in charting as required.
• Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice, focusing on quality of care, patient flow, reject/repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction.
