Responsibilities

• Perform imaging for interventional radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring high image quality and patient safety
• Operate fluoroscopy and related radiologic equipment; monitor equipment function and perform routine quality checks
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures; maintain sterile technique and appropriate aseptic conditions
• Monitor patient status during procedures; manage contrast administration and adherence to safety protocols
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in the Epic EMR; ensure timely and complete coding and charting
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety standards, and department policies; participate in call coverage as assigned

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography and AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• A minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology and critical care procedural experience
• Strong IR procedural skills and demonstrated critical care experience
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within the past 2 years) is required
• Call responsibilities: at least 1 weekday per week and every 3–4 weekends as dictated by department needs
• Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment and maintain reliability for the full assignment duration
