Job summary

Healthforce is actively hiring CT Technologists for a 13-week travel assignment in Gardner, MA, starting 09/28/2026 with a rotating shift and guaranteed 40 hours per week.

The role requires MA DPH Radiology License, ARRT CT within two years of hire, and at least 1 year CT experience. Toshiba CT scanner experience is a plus. Travel credentials and hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans per physician orders; position patients and select imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic-quality images.
• Administer and monitor contrast per protocol; ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Review physician orders for accuracy; verify exam type and requisition details; document reviews in the information system.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust software and factor settings; record data on final data sheet.
• Coordinate daily schedule and patient flow with Central Scheduling; data entry and charging accuracy.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control; respond promptly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans per physician orders; position patients and select imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic-quality images.
• Administer and monitor contrast materials per protocol; ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Review physician orders for accuracy; verify exam type and requisition details; document reviews in the information system.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust computer programs and technical factors; ensure all data are accurately recorded on the final data sheet.
• Coordinate daily schedule and patient flow with Central Scheduling; ensure proper patient data entry into the electronic system and accurate charging.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, patient privacy, and a safe environment; respond promptly in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: MA DPH Radiology License required; ARRT (CT) required within two years of hire; ARRT (R) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year CT experience; Toshiba CT scanner experience a plus.
• Additional: Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts; strong attention to patient safety and image quality.
