The ideal candidate holds a Massachusetts license, BLS, and ARRT certification, plus 2 years of radiology experience, preferably in travel/trauma settings. Flu vaccine is required prior to start, with no exemptions.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts radiology license active at submission.
• Current BLS and ARRT certification.
• Minimum 2 years radiology experience, travel/trauma hospital experience preferred.
• Flu vaccine required prior to start; no exemptions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hospital imaging dept on a 12-hour shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures (X-ray) per physician orders with emphasis on patient safety and image quality.
• Position patients properly, select exposure factors, and operate radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
• Adhere to ALARA and infection control standards; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Process and label images, document accurately, and deliver promptly to radiologists.
