Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a travel Radiology Technician for an 8-week assignment in State College, Pennsylvania. The role performs radiographic and fluoroscopic tests, with 40 hours per week on day shifts. Requires ARRT certification, BLS, and prior radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Experience as a radiology technician is required.
• Current radiology technician certification.
• Meets BLS standards per AHA and renews as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiological tests as scheduled and requested.
• Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images and transfer to PACS.
• Document tests accurately using computer systems.
• Assist with anesthesia support, pregnancy tests, EKGs, and supply management.
• Monitor radiology supplies and maintain equipment certification.
• Review OR schedule daily and coordinate radiology coverage.
• Apply aseptic techniques during procedures and protect patient confidentiality.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
