Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation.

Required: 1 year of Rad Tech experience, BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing where applicable. This travel role includes 13 weeks, 40 hours weekly, with 8-hour daytime shifts and travel-specific benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology technology experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT(R) national certification and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for Physician to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
