Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Rochester, Minnesota. The role requires 1 year of radiology experience, BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensure where required.

You will operate imaging equipment, protect patients from unnecessary exposure, and coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate results. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image calibration, and documentation in PACS, with 8-hour shifts and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Radiology Technologist.
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification with applicable state licensure.
• Ability to stand, walk and handle radiologic procedures for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas and positioning.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for accurate images.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
