Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, Oregon. The Rad Tech will use diagnostic imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure accurate images for physician interpretation. The role requires 1 year of experience and relevant certifications.

The position offers a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week with 10-hour rotating shifts. Benefits include weekly pay and job-specific travel support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (R) certification and state licensing when required.
• Rad Techs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and explain procedures.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper safeguards.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Operate McKesson PACS system.
