Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The Rad Tech will work 40 hours per week with 10-hour days and responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging, patient care, and documentation.

Requirements include 1 year of radiology experience, BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing as applicable. Travel role expects ability to handle patient care and operate imaging equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Current BLS, ARRT (R) certification and state license when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures.
• Follow physician orders for imaging area.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment correctly.
• Minimize radiation exposure with safety precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS system.
