Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Burlington, KS. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with care teams to deliver quality diagnostic results.

Requirements include 1 year of radiologic technologist experience, active radiologic license, and BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room where procedures take place.
• Evaluate images for quality and present findings to physicians and health care team.
• Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality; report malfunctions as needed.
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties within Radiologic Technologist scope.
