Job summary

TotalMed RN in Atlanta is seeking a travel nurse RN Special Procedures for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. The Radiology RN will work in a diagnostic environment, following physician instructions and using proper procedures.

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a 40-hour work week, dayshift, on-site in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification, with start date 11/16/2026.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2 years acute care experience.
• Experience in a radiology/diagnostic imaging environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start or check IVs, access infusaports, administer meds and monitor vitals.
• Inform technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties such as IV sedation or analgesia during procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
