Travel Rad Tech
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Stanford, California.

Required Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
- Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedures take place
- Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health-care team
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities
- Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend

- Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills
- Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

- Coping with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Work under close supervision occasionally and work without assistance from other personnel
- Handle irregular activity schedules occasionally and maintain continuous concentration to detail

- Possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
