Travel Rad Tech – Fusion Medical Staffing
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 12‑week travel assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
- Maintain equipment and sterilize the procedure room.
- Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team.
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification.
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

- Reading comprehension, following written and verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Must work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Must be able to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
- Must cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, work without assistance from other personnel, and contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally with continuous concentration to detail.
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
