Travel Radiology Technician – Morristown, New Jersey
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in Morristown, New Jersey. You will perform advanced imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other relevant certifications and licenses
Essential Work Functions
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
- Maintain equipment and sterilize the imaging room
- Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
- Adhere to hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills

- Physical: must remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend

- Mental: cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, manage irregular activity schedules, maintain continuous concentration to detail
