Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role provides competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
Essential Work Functions
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images per physician orders.
- Maintain and sterilize the procedure area.
- Evaluate image quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice as assigned.
Required Essential Skills

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English language.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in basic PC skills.
- Physical: Remain in stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal: Work effectively with a variety of personnel with a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Technical/Motor: Fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures or departmental equipment.
- Mental: Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain concentration to detail.
- Sensory: Visual acuity and effective communication.
