Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Covington, WA. You will perform advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results while collaborating with a clinical team.

The role requires at least one year of radiologic technologist experience, a current state license, and BLS certification. Travel benefits and comprehensive coverage are provided to support you on assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room where procedures take place.
• Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care team.
• Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions as needed.
• Document imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Radiologic Technologist practice.

Required Qualifications:

• - One year‘s experience as Radiologic Technologist
• - Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations

Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results.

Essential Work Functions:

• - Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions if they arise

Technical/Motor Skills

• - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

• - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
• - Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
