Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The role requires 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel staffing arrangements.

Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic radiation, coordinating treatment plans with oncologists, and ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. Board certification and ARRT credentials are required or preferred, with licensure in the applicable state.

Qualifications

• Licensure required in most states
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification
• Current CPR Certification
• 18+ months Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in critical care

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation for cancer treatment.
• Discuss treatment plans with patient in partnership with oncologist and physician.
• Establish correct radiation dosage and treatment area.
• Explain potential side effects and management.
• Operate radiotherapy equipment with safety and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a patient-focused, timely, compassionate care environment.
• Promote safe work environment and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment regimens.
