Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. You will administer radiation therapy, position patients with precision, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription.
• Administer prescribed doses of radiation following safety protocols.
• Perform regular equipment checks and troubleshoot as needed.
• Review prescriptions and patient records for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain treatment records including dosages and equipment settings.
• Conduct treatment sessions under physician direction.
• Enter data into computer and adjust equipment controls.
• Observe and reassure patients and report any unusual reactions.
• Perform other duties within Radiation Therapist scope.
