Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Radiation Therapist for an 8-week travel assignment in Turlock, CA. The role includes administering radiation treatments, imaging guidance, and maintaining patient safety. Requires ARRT (T), BLS, and one year of experience; state licensure may be required.

Travel with 40 hours/week and 8-hour day shifts, benefits included. Ideal candidates demonstrate attention to detail, compassion, and collaboration with the oncology team to ensure accurate therapy delivery and patient

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification and ARRT (T) certification
• State licensure may be required
• Travel position with 8-week assignment and 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation doses to patients
• Position patients accurately for each treatment
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity
• Monitor patients during procedures
• Use CT and X-ray imaging to guide delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain records
• Communicate with physicians and dosimetrists
• Educate patients and families on procedures and side effects
• Inspect and calibrate equipment
• Follow radiation safety protocols
