Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Turlock, California. The role involves administering targeted treatments and collaborating with oncology professionals to support cancer patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiation Therapy degree, AART certification, and state licensure if required, with 2 years of experience. Assignment runs 8 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
