MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Smithfield, North Carolina. The contract is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Requirements include ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, CPR, and licensure in most states; 18 months experience preferred, ideally in critical care. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Licensure is required in most states.
• Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation as part of cancer treatment.
• Discuss treatment plans with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish correct radiation dosage and target areas.
• Explain potential side effects and management strategies to patients.
• Operate radiotherapy equipment safely and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain quality patient care in a compassionate, professional manner.
• Promote a safe work environment for staff and patients.
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records.
