An opportunity is available now! Soliant is hiring Radiation Therapist applicants for a facility/cancer center in Temple Hills, Maryland.

This position is a dayshift for 13 weeks, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week. Extension requests are highly probable. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to match the tumor and delivering the prescribed dose are key job functions.

Shift/Qualification Requirements

• Shift: Day shift, 40 hours/week. Options for 5x8 or 4x10 schedule. Start time varies from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. No weekends or holidays.
• Travel assignment.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Required certificates: ARRT, BLS (AHA).
• Active MD license/certification.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Varian, Elekta, and Aria software.

Role Overview

As a radiation therapist, you'll work under oncologists and physicists to prepare patients and administer radiation treatments for cancer and other conditions. Responsibilities include precise measurements, fitting patients with equipment, monitoring responses, and adjusting treatments as needed. Work settings include hospitals or cancer centers.
