Ready to visit the state of Arizona for your next travel assignment? An opportunity is available now! Soliant is now hiring Radiation Therapist applicants for a facility/cancer center in Casa Grande, Arizona.
This position is a dayshift available for 13 weeks, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week. Extension requests are highly probable for this travel position. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions for this position.

Shift/Qualification RequirementsAs a radiation therapist, candidates work under an oncologist and Physicist as part of a medical team to prepare patients and administer radiation treatments for cancer and some other conditions. They take precise measurements of patients for treatment and may fit them with specialized equipment to be used during sessions.
During treatment, they will monitor the patient's responses, including side effects, and may adjust the schedule or doses of radiation accordingly. They may work at a hospital or at a freestanding cancer treatment center.
