Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Flint, MI. The role involves positioning patients, delivering prescribed radiation doses, and ensuring safety through prevention protocols.

You’ll work with a clinical team to support cancer care and patient comfort, while earning competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program, possess one year of experience, and hold a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription.
• Administer prescribed doses of radiation using equipment per safety protocols.
• Perform regular equipment checks and troubleshoot issues.
• Review prescription, diagnosis, and patient chart for accuracy.
• Follow radiation protection principles for safety of patients and staff.
• Maintain records of dosages, equipment settings, and patient reactions.
• Conduct treatment sessions independently under physician direction.
• Enter data into computer and adjust equipment controls as needed.
• Observe and reassure patients during treatment and report unusual reactions.
• Performs other duties within Radiation Therapist scope.
