Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. The role involves positioning patients and delivering targeted radiation therapy under physician guidance, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining detailed treatment records.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Radiation Therapy program, at least one year of experience, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Minimum one year of recent Radiation Therapist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patients per prescription to maximize treatment effectiveness and minimize healthy tissue exposure.
• Deliver prescribed radiation doses using therapy equipment per safety protocols.
• Perform regular checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Review prescriptions, diagnosis, and patient charts for accuracy.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Document dosages, equipment settings, and patient responses.
