TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts. The role involves delivering radiation treatments and ensuring patient safety under the radiation oncologist's prescription.

You will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, and must have ARRT (T) and BLS, plus state licensure as needed. Travel assignments offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS certification and ARRT (T) certification required.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed radiation doses to patients per oncologist directions.
• Position and align patients for each treatment session.
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivery.
• Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort.
• Use CT or X-ray imaging to guide treatment delivery.
• Document treatment details and maintain patient records.
• Communicate with physicians, dosimetrists, and team members.
• Maintain and calibrate treatment equipment and follow safety protocols.
