TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Laguna Hills, California. This role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, and it requires travel credentials.

The position offers the chance to work across a dedicated oncology team in a dynamic travel setting. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience, a current BLS, and ARRT (T) certification; state licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS certification and ARRT (T) certification required.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment.
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session.
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Use imaging technology to guide accurate treatment delivery.
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the treatment team.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and potential side effects.
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly.
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
