Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist to support our Radiation Oncology department in Greenbrae, California. The role requires ARRT and CA RTT licenses, BLS, and 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour daytime shifts. Start date is 10/05/2026, with responsibilities including patient setup, imaging, treatment delivery, and collaboration with the oncology team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of minimum Radiation Oncology experience.
• Properly setup and align patients using imaging techniques for radiation therapy.
• Assesses patient status during direct interaction and refers to care team as needed.
• Prepares for treatment delivery including checks and chart/film tasks.
• Performs CT setup for treatment planning when required.
• Works with team to complete duties and tasks as needed.
• MOSAIQ and Varian TrueBeam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and equipment for radiation therapy.
• Position and immobilize patients for accurate treatment.
• Perform imaging and treatment planning steps as needed.
• Collaborate with radiation therapists and clinicians on patient care.
• Monitor patient condition during treatment and report changes.
