MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. The position offers a 13-week contract, 40 hours per week, with dayshift, and travel-related benefits.

Requirements include ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, CPR, and state licensure where applicable, with 18 months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, especially in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Most states require licensure.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with the patient in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and treatment area.
• Explain potential side effects and how to manage them.
• Safely operate radiotherapy equipment according to regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimens.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment and high-quality care.
