Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist to join a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with travel staffing support.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, accurately positioning patients, coordinating with oncology team, and maintaining patient records. Requires ARRT in Radiation Therapy, a degree, BLS, and Georgia licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T) is required.
• Active Georgia state license, if required by Georgia.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments while maintaining records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses for quality care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
