Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist licensed in WA for an outpatient radiation oncology department at a Level III Trauma Center. You will handle CT simulation, IMRT/SRS, and daily ARIA/TrueBeam workflows in a 104-bed facility.

Responsibilities include day shifts, no weekends, and potential travel between sister facilities. Epic charting is required; compensation includes housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• WA state license required or in hand at submission
• Compact license accepted
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in radiation safety, beam modifying/positioning, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Experience with pretreatment, CT simulation, and simulation of treatment sites preferred
• Experience treating prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, heterotopic bone, and keloids"
• Skilled in IMRT, respiratory gating, and SRS
• Knowledge of billing for treatment types and devices

Responsibilities

• Work in adult outpatient radiation oncology setting
• Play a role in a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 5 days a week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float between sister facilities as needed
• Operate ARIA, GE, TrueBeam, and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units
• Use Varis-Vision/ARIA for record and verify systems
• Epic charting system required
• Deliver radiation therapy to a range of sites and techniques
• Open to first-time travelers
• Commit to 3 of 5 major holidays
• RTO requests submitted upfront
• Scrubs of any color accepted
• No parking fees at this facility
• Travelers living within 50 miles receive lower bill rate
• Former permanent staff may return after 3 months
• Travelers may float between contracted facilities near location

• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating between units required
• Uses ARIA, GE, TrueBeam, and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units
• Uses Varis-Vision/ARIA for record and verify systems
• Epic charting system required
• Perform radiation therapy treatments across a range of techniques and treatment sites
• Open to first‑time travelers
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Scrubs of any color accepted across all units
• No parking fees at this facility
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a lower bill rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
