Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, Minnesota. The Rad Tech will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure image quality, and prepare findings for physicians while adhering to safety and patient-care standards.

The role requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and appropriate state licensing where required. The position offers 40 hours per week with rotating 8-hour shifts and a travel engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of radiology technologist experience.
• ARRT (R) National Certification and BLS required; state licensing as applicable.
• Rad Techs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physicians' orders regarding imaging area.
• Position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to proper position.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
