Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, MN. The right candidate has at least 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and any state licensing required.

As an MRI Tech, you will perform imaging procedures, ensure accuracy of images, prepare patients, follow safety protocols, and assist radiologists. The travel role offers 40 hours per week on days, with a competitive pay package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration in MRI
• state licensing as required

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Screen patients for MRI safety before procedures
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for MRI scans
• Load and operate contrast media injection equipment and manage accuracy of imaging
• Assist radiologist during procedures and ensure proper labeling of images
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety standards are followed
• Understand and use PACS systems such as McKesson
