Job summary
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Fresno, California. You will work 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, providing hands-on rehab under a licensed PT and supporting patient mobility and functional goals.
Requirements include an associate degree in Physical Therapy, California PTA license, and BLS; SNF experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.
Qualifications
- Must have an associate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Familiarity with Net Health EMR preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet productivity expectations (approx. 90%).
- Previous travel PTA experience preferred.
- Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care to SNF patients under supervision of a licensed PT.
- Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans.
- Document progress in the electronic medical record.
- Support patient mobility and functional goals.
