Job summary

ARMStaffing places a Travel PTA in an outpatient setting for a 13-week contract, delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will assist in treatment plans, monitor responses, and document progress while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a busy clinic.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with a 12-hour flexible shift pattern, offering travel reimbursement and housing support through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
• CAPTE certification.
• Active state licensure as PTA and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans.
• Train patients in locomotion and use of assistive devices.
• Apply therapeutic modalities (whirlpool, ultrasound, heat/cold packs).
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment as needed.
• Document patient progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team during conferences.
• Maintain infection control and safe treatment areas.
• Provide friendly, high-quality patient service.
