Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physical therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions including gait training, posture training, strengthening, endurance, balance, and functional skills.
• Trains patients in gait and use of assistive devices; operates modalities like ultrasound and therapeutic pools.
• Monitors patient responses and documents progress.
• Follows facility policies and safety guidelines; engages in team collaborations; participates in quality improvement projects.
